Al-Kari’a (Arabic: القارعة - Crushing Misfortune) is the hundred and first surah of the Quran. Meccan Sura. Consists of 11 verses.The surah begins with the intimidation of a crushing misfortune (al-karia - القارعة), which will loudly and severely hit peoples ears and stun them.
